First blog. For you my brides.
I have been trying to decide, what should my first blog be about, and since wedding makeup is what I mostly do these days I will write about the usual questions and concerns brides usually have.
First of all, it it very important to choose the right makeup artist for the specific needs that you might have. If you are looking to look natural don't pursue a makeup artist, who's portfolio consists of mostly dramatic looks etc (in that specific case I would not recommend going to MAC, since they are known for very dramatic looks, which might be fine for fun night out, but maybe not so on your wedding day) Also personality of the artist might be something that you should think of, are you looking to add "more drama" on that usually already hectic day, or would you rather have someone soothing and easygoing....?
Secondly I usually have questions about the airbrush makeup. Should you go for it, or rather stick with the traditional makeup. What I usually advise is, that if you are used to wearing makeup, especially foundation, airbrush is a good way to go, since it gives you a flawless look, but it does look like you have makeup on. If you don't like too much foundation I would go with the traditional makeup. The foundation I mostly use is called RCMA, which is a professional grade foundation, made by makeup artist, and which has been "the foundation" of celebrities and makeup professionals. It goes on beautifly, gives a nice smooth coverage that lasts all day.
